About This Adventure

Widow Coulee fishing access is a great stop to experience the Mighty Mo', as the locals call it. It is a nice drive from Great Falls and dips down into the Missouri River canyon, giving nice views along the way.

*DRIVING DIRECTIONS The Google directions will take you almost completely there; however, continue going forward towards the water to get there.

Highlights

Remote river access close to Great Falls.
There is excellent fishing and the river is gentle through this part of the plains.
Placards are placed here explaining the information about the Lewis and Clark expedition..
This is a great area for snowshoeing in the winter.
