The Shoulders of the Flint Creek Mountain Range day drive is about 82 miles from Butte to Drummond, Montana. The beautiful drive features Mount Powell, Mount Rumsey, Grouse Hill, Silver Lake, Georgetown Lake, Mount Haggin Wildlife Management Area, Lost Lake State Park, and Granite Ghost Town State Park.
You can extend your trip past the necessary two hours, explore the area for a couple of days, and make the drive a long weekend.
From Butte to Drummond, Montana, campgrounds include Piney Campground, Lodgepole Campground, Philipsburg Bay Campground, Cable Campground, Flint Creek Campground, Spring Hill Campground, and Stuart Mill Bay Campground.
