Shelby Roadrunner Recreation Trail

The Roadrunner Recreational Trail is in Shelby, Montana. It's a great series of trails the community uses to stay healthy.

The trail is paved with asphalt making it great for biking as well. It sits on hilly land and can be a great workout or a beautiful stroll.

There are two trail loop options. One of them is a 2 miles loop, and the other is a 5-mile loop. The entire trail can take several hours, but if you're looking for a shorter trail loop, take the mid-way loop, which joins North Park Drive about 1/2 a mile from the City Shop Road.

This is a beautiful area to spend your afternoon. It features Lake Sheloole, and the wildlife viewing opportunities are extensive. There are also stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and Sweetgrass Hills.

Overall, this is a fun and beautiful trail with varying degrees of difficulty for the whole family.
