Gibson Reservoir

The drive out to Gibson Reservoir is beautiful. The road can be rough but the views of the Rocky Mountain Front are incredible. Gibson is a fun area to explore and hike around. There is a boat launch available and the area is not very populated - you'll likely have the lake to yourself almost anytime you go. The water level gets low in summer making the lakeshores fun to walk along.
